If you're a big group, Big Mable is what to look for on Belcekız Beach. Taking up to 8 people, its giant inflatable lets the whole family or group of friends get in the water at the same time — no taking turns, no waiting on the shore, no "I want a go too."

Its wide, full shape makes the ride calmer than mable or phantom. That makes it the safest common ground for mixed-age groups: grandad rides, the kids ride, everyone laughs together.

Big Mable

What Is Big Mable?

Big Mable is a giant inflatable with capacity for up to 8, towed on a rope behind the speedboat. It's the scaled-up version of the standard Mable — same riding logic, but much more stable.

Its size brings two things. First, stability: the wide surface sits solidly on the water, reducing swing and the chance of falling. Second, group energy: 6–8 people screaming at once is an experience of its own.

Big Mable vs Banana

On the banana you sit in a row like riding a horse; on Big Mable you settle side by side, lying or sitting. Banana is longer and narrower, Big Mable wider and more stable. Falling off is easier on the banana, harder on Big Mable.

How Is Big Mable Done in Ölüdeniz?

  1. Gather your group. From 2 up to 8. Tell us how many and we\'ll plan the layout.
  2. Life jacket. Everyone, children included, gets a properly sized life jacket with buckles checked.
  3. Briefing. Holding position, what to do when you fall, signals. For mixed groups we give the children a simple version too.
  4. Seating. Little ones and the cautious in the middle, the bold on the edges. This one tweak sets the tone.
  5. Launch. The captain starts slowly; once everyone confirms they\'re holding, he speeds up.
  6. The ride. Wide turns, rhythmic bounces. Signal "faster" or "go easy" to change the tempo anytime.
  7. Return. The boat slows and takes you aboard in turn.

How Does It Feel? What to Expect

The best thing about Big Mable is that nobody is left out. Picture a group of eight: all on the same inflatable, all getting soaked at once, all bouncing on the same wave. Nobody watching from the shore.

Something interesting emerges during the ride: nobody wants to fall, but everyone waits for someone to. Falling off Big Mable is hard, so when someone actually goes, the whole group bursts out laughing — and usually that person climbs back on laughing too. With families the line we hear most is "one more time." Big Mable becomes one of those parts of the holiday you tell people about.

Why us

Why No Name Water Sports?

  • We know big groups. Where 8 people should sit, how to place children — it sets both the safety and the fun.
  • Intensity really is adjusted. If there\'s a 7-year-old in the family, the captain rides accordingly. We don\'t go hard unless you ask.
  • Child life jackets available. We don\'t put an adult jacket on a child.
  • The whole group in one ride. No queue, everyone in the water together.
  • Great for a family photo. Big groups look spectacular on drone.

Safety: non-negotiable for us

  • Life jacket mandatory for all — children get properly sized ones.
  • Capacity respected. No more than 8.
  • Briefing not skipped; children get a simple version.
  • Intensity set to the most sensitive member of the group.
  • No intoxicated guests.
  • No ride if conditions aren\'t suitable.

With children

Children always sit beside an adult and on the inner side of the inflatable. Before launch the captain looks at the group and plans the speed. If a child gets uncomfortable during the ride, a hand signal slows it immediately or ends it — don\'t hesitate to signal.

Who can join

Who Can Do Big Mable?

  • Groups of 6–8 friends
  • Families with children — kids above the age limit beside a parent

Cannot join

  • Pregnancy
  • Serious heart and blood-pressure conditions

Getting ready

What to Bring, What to Wear

  • Swimwear — for everyone.
  • A change of clothes for the children — the most-forgotten thing in a big group.
  • Sun cream (water-resistant)
  • A towel each
  • A hair tie

Leave behind: phone, glasses, hat, jewellery. Keeping track of belongings is hard in a big group; leave them at our stand and we\'ll watch them.

What to Know About Big Mable

How many is ideal?

6–8 people is what Big Mable is built for — its most stable and most fun. With 2–4 it sits lighter and rides a bit livelier, which some prefer too. Big group → Big Mable; smaller → Mable may fit better.

Seating really matters

Children and the cautious in the middle, the bold on the edges. The edges swing far more in turns, the middle almost not at all. One layout lets everyone enjoy it at their own level.

Best time for a family ride

For families, mornings are usually best: calmer sea, quieter beach, fresher kids. Afternoons the queue grows and the chop increases.

Group photo and drone

Big Mable is our most spectacular activity for drone — 8 people bouncing on a giant inflatable looks amazing from the air. We shoot professional photos too and offer GoPro hire. Paid services, usually recommended for big groups so nobody has to fiddle with a phone.

Group booking

For groups of 6+ we recommend letting us know in advance. Message us on WhatsApp to secure your time.

Frequently asked questions about Big Mable

If you can’t find your answer, just message us on WhatsApp.

How many can ride the Big Mable?

2 to 8. It's most stable and most fun ridden by 6–8. If you're fewer, standard Mable may suit better.

Is Big Mable suitable for children?

Children above a certain age can join beside a parent, on the inner side. We set the intensity to the most sensitive member and use properly sized child life jackets. Tell us your child's age for clear info.

What's the difference between Big Mable and Banana?

On the banana you sit in a row like riding a horse; on Big Mable you settle side by side, lying or sitting. Big Mable is wider and more stable, harder to fall off. Banana is longer, narrower and easier to fall off.

Is the chance of falling high?

No — Big Mable is the hardest of our towables to fall off. Its wide surface sits solidly, so swing is minimal. Even if you fall, your life jacket brings you up immediately and the boat returns within seconds.

Do we need to book if we come as a big group?

For groups of 6+ we recommend letting us know in advance. Boat and equipment planning is involved, so message us on WhatsApp to secure your time.

Can an older person ride too?

Because Big Mable is stable and the intensity can be lowered, it's our most-chosen activity for mixed-age groups. Still, we don't recommend it with heart, blood-pressure, back or neck conditions. Tell us about any health issues beforehand.

How long does it last, how much does it cost?

Rides are per session; pricing varies by season, group size and extras. Message us on WhatsApp for clear info.
