Safety and Rules

Done right, water sports are safe; neglected, they're risky. The rules below are non-negotiable for us and applied without exception.

Before every activity

• A safety briefing is given; short, but never skipped.
• A life jacket is fitted and its buckles checked.
• The harness, rope and attachment points are inspected.
• The participant's health status and any limits are asked.

Weather and sea conditions

If wind, waves or visibility aren't suitable, the activity doesn't run. Our captain and shore team make this call. There's no charge for a postponed activity; it's moved to the same day or another day.

Participation limits

• People under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not accepted.
• Pregnant guests, those with serious heart/blood-pressure conditions, and those with recent surgery cannot join.
• Age and weight limits differ per activity and are strict for safety.
• Those with back, neck or shoulder conditions must inform our team beforehand.

During the activity

• Follow the team's and captain's instructions.
• Don't take a phone, sunglasses, hat or jewellery with you.
• The life jacket is never removed under any circumstances.

If you have a question, don't hesitate to ask — no safety question is "too simple."
