That position makes the sofa the most comfortable of the towables. It's the first thing we suggest on Belcekız Beach for guests who don't want to strain their back or neck but still want to try a towable.

What Is Sofa?
Sofa is a towable with back-supported seats, towed on a rope behind the speedboat. Think of it like seats side by side; everyone sits in their own spot, leans back and grips the side handles.
The ride is medium: not as soft as banana, not as hard as phantom. The upright seating keeps your torso vertical, so you feel the swings more in control. It's the activity for "I want thrill but I don't want to be flung about."

How Is Sofa Done in Ölüdeniz?
- Decide your group. The sofa is ridden side by side; tell us how many and we\'ll set the layout.
- Life jacket and briefing. Seating, holding on, what to do when you fall.
- Boarding. Out to the tow area off Belcekız on our speedboat.
- Get set. Sit in your seat, back against the rest, grip the side handles. Feet forward, knees slightly bent.
- Launch. The captain starts slowly; when you signal ready he speeds up.
- The ride. On the straights you can lean back and watch the view; in the turns grip the handles and enjoy the swing.
- Return. The boat slows and takes you aboard.

How Does It Feel? What to Expect
The most unexpected thing about the sofa: because it's comfortable, you actually see the view. On towables ridden lying down your head is close to the water so you have no time to notice your surroundings; on the sofa, sitting upright, you watch Belcekız Beach, the mouth of the lagoon and the slopes of Babadağ rush past.
Then the turn comes. Thanks to the back support you meet the swing with your arms rather than your torso — a more controlled feeling at the same speed. Sitting side by side as a group, you see everyone's reaction at once; who's laughing and who's screaming is right there. On longer rides the difference shows: where lying-down towables tire the arms and neck, the sofa keeps you comfortable to the end.

Another activity might suit better
Cannot join: pregnancy, serious heart/blood-pressure conditions, recent surgery or fracture, back–neck–shoulder problems, alcohol. Despite the back support the sofa is still a jolting activity; we don\'t recommend it with serious back conditions. Ask our team for age and weight limits.

What to Know About the Sofa
Which seat is livelier?
As with the other towables, the edge seats swing more in turns, the middle stays calmer. If someone in your group is more cautious, we suggest the middle.
Sofa or Big Mable?
Both are ridden side by side as a group. The difference: the sofa has back support and you sit upright, with a slightly livelier ride. Big Mable is wider, takes more people and is more stable. Big group → Big Mable; comfort and view → Sofa.
For those with back pain
The sofa is less demanding than the other towables thanks to the support — but it\'s still a jolting activity. Mild issues can try it at low tempo; with serious back or neck conditions we recommend no towable at all. In that case parasailing or a boat tour is far more suitable.
Photos and drone
Because everyone sits upright and faces the camera, facial expressions come out clearly — ideal for a group shot. We shoot professional photos from shore and follow with a drone when weather permits; GoPro hire too. Paid services.
