Mable (sometimes spelled marble) is the "middle ground" of the towables on Belcekız Beach. Livelier than ringo and banana, softer than phantom. That's why for mixed groups, the safe choice is usually mable.
Its wide 2 to 4 person surface makes it both easy to hold on to and not as certain to throw you as phantom. It's the activity for those who say "I want excitement but I don't want to fight the sea."

What Is Mable?
Mable is a wide-surfaced 2 to 4 person inflatable towed on a rope behind the speedboat. It can be ridden lying down or kneeling — that flexibility is its key difference.
Its full, wide shape sits higher on the water, which means a bouncy ride rather than sharp cutting: you hop from wave to wave without the outward swing of phantom.
Mable or marble?
Both are used for the same thing. On the beach and in brochures you\'ll mostly see "Mable"; online you might search "marble water sport." At our centre on Belcekız Beach they\'re the same.
Mable vs Big Mable
Same idea, different size. Mable is 2–4 people and more agile. Big Mable is the giant version for up to 8 — for big families and groups, with a heavier, calmer ride.

How Is Mable Done in Ölüdeniz?
- Decide your group. 2, 3 or 4. Mixed ages? Tell us and we\'ll set the seating.
- Life jacket and briefing. Hold position, what to do when you fall, signals with the captain.
- Boarding and area. Out to the tow area off Belcekız on our speedboat.
- Choose your position. Lying is more stable and lowers the chance of falling; kneeling is livelier and more fun.
- Launch. The captain starts gently; you signal when ready.
- The ride. Bounces on the straights, wide swings in turns. You can change the intensity during the ride.
- Return. The boat slows and takes you aboard.

How Does It Feel? What to Expect
Mable's character is bouncing. As the boat speeds up the inflatable lifts briefly over the waves; on each landing the whole group says "oh" at once. It's not the sharp swing of phantom but a rhythmic hop.
That rhythm makes mable a great start for first-time towable riders — you can anticipate what's coming, there are no surprises, yet it's thoroughly fun. Kneeling changes the story: harder balance, higher chance of falling, more laughter. Some guests even switch position mid-ride — mable lets you.

Holding on right
Hands on the handles, elbows slightly bent, body near the centre. Sliding to the edge is the number-one cause of falling. Kneeling? Knees shoulder-width, body leaning slightly forward.

Mable is one of the most broadly suitable towables. Being medium-intensity makes it good for both younger and more cautious guests.

Cannot join: pregnancy, serious heart/blood-pressure conditions, recent surgery or fracture, back–neck–shoulder problems, alcohol. Ask our team for age and weight limits.

- Swimwear — snug-fitting is best.
- Sun cream (water-resistant)
- Towel and change of clothes
- A hair tie
Leave behind: phone, glasses, hat, jewellery, watch. The chance of falling is medium but not zero. Leave them at our stand.

What to Know About Mable
Lying or kneeling?
First ride? Start lying down: easy balance, low chance of falling. Once confident, try kneeling — a much livelier experience at the same speed, and where the group rivalry begins.
Who sits where?
The middle spots are steadier, the edges swing more. Put the more cautious rider in the middle, the boldest on the edge. This small tweak really changes the ride.
Photos and drone
The bounces look great in photos. We shoot professional photos from shore and, weather permitting, follow you from the air with a drone; GoPro hire too. These services are paid.

What's the difference between mable and phantom?
Mable is wider and softer; a bouncy ride without the swing. Phantom is low, fast and hard-swinging. If it's your first time, mable; if you want adrenaline, phantom.
How many can ride the mable?
2 to 4. For a bigger group we'd recommend Big Mable, which takes up to 8.
Should I ride lying or kneeling?
First ride, start lying down — easy balance, low chance of falling. Once relaxed you can try kneeling; at the same speed it's a much livelier, harder experience.
Will I fall off?
The chance is medium; lying down it's quite low. Even if you fall, your life jacket brings you up immediately and the boat returns within seconds — completely normal and safe.
Can children ride the mable?
Children above a certain age can join with reduced intensity and a parent alongside. Age and weight limits are strict; tell us your child's age and we'll decide together whether mable or banana/big mable fits.
I can't swim — can I ride?
The life jacket is mandatory and the boat watches you constantly. Since falling is possible, do tell us you can't swim — we lower the intensity and, if needed, suggest a better activity.
