Ovacık is a green, quiet holiday area between Fethiye and Ölüdeniz, at the foot of Babadağ. It is also known as the starting point of the Lycian Way. Ovacık has no seafront, but Belcekız Beach in Ölüdeniz is only a short ride away on the Fethiye–Ölüdeniz dolmuş line.

A day that combines nature and the sea
- Early morning: A short walk on the first kilometres of the Lycian Way (in summer start early to beat the heat and carry plenty of water).
- Midday: Take the dolmuş down to Ölüdeniz for lunch in the shade.
- Afternoon: A boat tour, canoe or a swim in the lagoon.
- Late afternoon: Parasailing in the soft light, with drone footage.
Tips for guests coming from Ovacık
- Rest after a hike: After a long walk, SUP, canoe or a boat tour may be more enjoyable than hard activities like phantom.
- Watch the wind: The wind can pick up in the afternoon; wind-dependent activities may be postponed.
- Family groups: Banana and Big Mable are ideal for large families.

How to get to Belcekız Beach
- Dolmuş: Fethiye–Ölüdeniz minibuses pass through Ovacık; you go down to Ölüdeniz via Hisarönü.
- Taxi: A short and practical option.
- By car: Drive from Ovacık via Hisarönü down to Ölüdeniz; the road is winding. In summer, arrive early to find parking.
