General
General questions
What water sports are there in Ölüdeniz?
At our centre on Belcekız Beach you can do parasailing, jet ski, phantom, mable, big mable, ringo, banana, wakeboard, water ski and a speed boat tour. We also capture your activity with professional photo and drone video.
Do I need a reservation?
Not required. You can come straight to our stand on Belcekız Beach. On busy days and for large groups we recommend messaging us on WhatsApp in advance to secure your time.
How much do prices cost?
Prices vary by season, activity and group size. For a current price message us on WhatsApp, call, or drop by our stand on the beach — we'll give you an exact figure.
I can't swim — can I do a water sport?
On many activities swimming isn't required; a life jacket is mandatory and our team is with you throughout. Let's find the right activity for you — ask our team on the beach.
Can we join with children?
Yes, we have many family-friendly activities. Each has its own age and weight limits, so tell us your child's age and we'll explain the best options.
When does the season open?
The water sports season in Ölüdeniz generally starts in spring and runs until late October. For the current status, reach out to us.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We don't run activities in unsuitable weather or sea conditions. In that case your activity is moved to a suitable time the same day or another day.
Do you offer photo and video?
Yes. We offer professional photo and drone video. Our own team shoots it, so you don't have to put your phone in the water.
Where are you located?
Belcekız Beach, Ölüdeniz / Fethiye — Muğla. When you come down to the beach you'll easily find our stand.
Do you serve in languages other than Turkish?
Yes, our team serves in English too.
Activity
Parasailing
Is parasailing in Ölüdeniz safe?
Yes. Parasailing has controlled take-off and landing, with the rope entirely under the boat's control. We give a safety briefing before every flight and check the harness and life jacket twice. If the wind isn't suitable we don't fly — a call we make regardless of guest requests.
Is parasailing scary? It's my first time.
It's normal to feel excited before take-off, but parasailing doesn't contain the things that trigger fear: no free fall, no sudden manoeuvres, no equipment you have to control. The rise is so smooth most guests ask "when did we take off?" It's the ideal first water sport.
I can't swim — can I go parasailing?
Yes. You don't enter the water during the flight and your life jacket is on. Take-off and landing are from the boat platform. Many of our guests who can't swim go parasailing.
How high does parasailing go?
Height depends on how much rope is let out, the wind and the total weight; it usually goes above a hundred metres. If you have a height preference, tell the captain before take-off — a lower flight is possible too.
How long does parasailing last?
Airborne time depends on the flight package you choose, usually around 10–15 minutes. Including departure from the beach, the boat ride and return, the whole process takes about half an hour.
Can children go parasailing?
Children above a certain age can fly as a double with a parent. Age and weight limits are strict for safety; for current limits please message us on WhatsApp or ask our team at the stand.
Will I get wet?
Not unless you want to — you can go up and come down dry. But if you like, signal the captain and he'll dip your feet in the sea on landing. On hot days it's the most popular and most-loved moment.
Do I have to fly alone?
No. You can fly solo, or as a double or triple. Couples, groups of friends and parent–child pairs usually prefer to fly together.
Can I take my phone with me?
For safety we ask you not to take a phone, sunglasses, hat or jewellery — dropping them is dangerous for you and for anyone below. Instead you can use our professional photo and drone video service; leave your belongings safely at our stand.
Do I need a reservation?
Not required — you can come straight to our stand on Belcekız Beach. On busy days and for large groups we recommend messaging by phone or WhatsApp in advance to secure your time.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If wind or sea conditions aren't suitable we don't fly. In that case we move your flight to a suitable time the same day or another day. We never compromise on safety.
Is parasailing the same as paragliding?
No. Paragliding means jumping off Babadağ with a pilot and gliding down to the beach. Parasailing is a much shorter, controlled flight over the sea, towed by a speedboat on a rope. For those wary of heights, parasailing is usually far more comfortable.
Activity
Jet Ski
Is riding a jet ski hard? I have no experience.
No, a jet ski is the easiest powered watercraft to learn. Throttle, handlebars and an emergency stop cord — that's it. We give a short training before you go on the water and you do the first lap at low speed under supervision. Most guests relax within five minutes.
Do I need a licence for the jet ski?
Guests with no experience ride within a defined area under our team's supervision, so you don't need to worry. For unsupervised use, ask our team at the beach for the current requirements.
I can't swim — can I ride a jet ski?
The life jacket is mandatory and our team stays within sight throughout. That said, falling off is always possible on a jet ski, so if you can't swim please tell us beforehand and we'll set up a suitable way to ride.
Can I take a passenger?
Yes, our jet skis are suitable for double use. The passenger must hold on tightly and lean the same way in turns. With two up the craft responds a little more slowly and turns are wider.
How fast can I go?
Within the marked area, speed is entirely your choice. You must slow down near swimming zones and other craft; otherwise you can open the throttle comfortably. You don't have to go fast — plenty of guests just cruise.
How long does the jet ski last?
Duration depends on the package you choose. For current times and pricing, message us on WhatsApp or drop by our stand on Belcekız Beach.
What if I fall off?
Thanks to the kill switch cord on your wrist, the engine stops automatically when you fall; the craft won't drive away. Your life jacket keeps you afloat and our team reaches you immediately. Falling off is expected and not dangerous.
Can my child ride?
Age limits are strict for safety and depend on how it's used. Children above a certain age can sit behind with a parent. Tell us your child's age and we'll give you clear information.
Activity
Phantom
Is phantom too hard? I'm scared.
Phantom is the hardest of the towables, true. But the intensity is entirely down to the captain's speed, and you set it. Just say "go easy" before launch. For a softer start we recommend beginning with banana or ringo.
How many can ride the phantom?
2 to 4. Two gives a faster, harder ride; four is heavier but much more fun as a group.
Is falling off dangerous?
No. Falling is part of phantom and everyone falls. Your life jacket brings you straight up and the boat, which watches you constantly, returns within seconds. The key is not to resist as you fall.
I can't swim — can I do phantom?
The life jacket is mandatory and the boat never loses sight of you. Still, falling into the water is very likely on phantom, so if you can't swim please tell us beforehand — we may suggest a more suitable activity.
Can children do phantom?
Phantom is intense, so we don't recommend it for small children — banana or big mable is far more suitable for them. Age limits are strict for safety; tell us your child's age and we'll pick the right option together.
What's the difference between phantom and mable?
Phantom is lower, faster and harder-swinging; ridden face-down. Mable gives a softer ride and can be ridden lying or kneeling. Big Mable is the giant version for up to 8 people.
How long does it last, how much does it cost?
Rides are per session and vary by package; pricing varies by season, group size and any extras. For current info message us on WhatsApp or drop by our stand.
Activity
Mable
Is it spelled mable or marble?
Both are used for the same activity. On the beach and in brochures it's usually "Mable"; online it's also searched as "marble water sport." At our centre on Belcekız Beach they're the same.
What's the difference between mable and phantom?
Mable is wider and softer; a bouncy ride without the swing. Phantom is low, fast and hard-swinging. If it's your first time, mable; if you want adrenaline, phantom.
How many can ride the mable?
2 to 4. For a bigger group we'd recommend Big Mable, which takes up to 8.
Should I ride lying or kneeling?
First ride, start lying down — easy balance, low chance of falling. Once relaxed you can try kneeling; at the same speed it's a much livelier, harder experience.
Will I fall off?
The chance is medium; lying down it's quite low. Even if you fall, your life jacket brings you up immediately and the boat returns within seconds — completely normal and safe.
Can children ride the mable?
Children above a certain age can join with reduced intensity and a parent alongside. Age and weight limits are strict; tell us your child's age and we'll decide together whether mable or banana/big mable fits.
I can't swim — can I ride?
The life jacket is mandatory and the boat watches you constantly. Since falling is possible, do tell us you can't swim — we lower the intensity and, if needed, suggest a better activity.
Activity
Big Mable
How many can ride the Big Mable?
2 to 8. It's most stable and most fun ridden by 6–8. If you're fewer, standard Mable may suit better.
Is Big Mable suitable for children?
Children above a certain age can join beside a parent, on the inner side. We set the intensity to the most sensitive member and use properly sized child life jackets. Tell us your child's age for clear info.
What's the difference between Big Mable and Banana?
On the banana you sit in a row like riding a horse; on Big Mable you settle side by side, lying or sitting. Big Mable is wider and more stable, harder to fall off. Banana is longer, narrower and easier to fall off.
Is the chance of falling high?
No — Big Mable is the hardest of our towables to fall off. Its wide surface sits solidly, so swing is minimal. Even if you fall, your life jacket brings you up immediately and the boat returns within seconds.
Do we need to book if we come as a big group?
For groups of 6+ we recommend letting us know in advance. Boat and equipment planning is involved, so message us on WhatsApp to secure your time.
Can an older person ride too?
Because Big Mable is stable and the intensity can be lowered, it's our most-chosen activity for mixed-age groups. Still, we don't recommend it with heart, blood-pressure, back or neck conditions. Tell us about any health issues beforehand.
How long does it last, how much does it cost?
Rides are per session; pricing varies by season, group size and extras. Message us on WhatsApp for clear info.
Activity
Ringo
Is ringo suitable for children?
Yes — ringo is the most-chosen first activity for families on Belcekız Beach. On the double ringo the child sits with an adult and the captain lowers the tempo. Age limits are strict; tell us your child's age for clear info.
How hard is ringo?
Fully adjustable. With the same equipment we can give a very gentle glide or a head-spinning ride. Just signal the captain before or during the ride.
What's the difference between ringo and banana?
Ringo is ring-shaped and you sit inside; in turns it spins on its own axis for a centrifugal feel. Banana is long and you sit in a row like riding a horse — more of a group feeling. Big group → banana; fewer people → ringo.
How many can ride the ringo?
Single or double options are available. For a big group, Big Mable (up to 8) or banana suits better.
Will I fall? Is falling dangerous?
It depends on the tempo; on a gentle ride the chance is very low. Even if you fall, ringo falls are soft, your life jacket brings you up immediately and the boat returns within seconds.
I can't swim — can I do ringo?
The life jacket is mandatory and the boat watches you constantly. Tell us you can't swim and we'll lower the tempo right down — ringo is one of the best activities in that case.
Where do I put my feet?
Feet inside the ring, extended forward; don't dangle them. This keeps your speed and stops your legs straining in turns. Our team checks your seating before launch.
Activity
Banana
Is the banana boat safe for children?
The banana is our most-recommended activity for families in Ölüdeniz. The seating is natural, the tempo can be kept very low, and falling is soft. Children wear a properly sized life jacket and sit right beside an adult. Ask our team about age limits.
How many can ride the banana?
Banana is a group activity; capacity depends on the equipment. If you're a big group, tell us on the beach and we'll arrange for everyone to ride together.
Do I have to fall off?
No. Tell the captain "we don't want to fall" and he rides so you don't. But honestly, most groups ride to fall — and that's the most fun part.
I can't swim — can I ride the banana?
The life jacket is mandatory and the boat watches you constantly. Tell us you can't swim and we lower the tempo right down. Even if you fall, the jacket keeps you up; just stay put and the boat comes to you.
What's the difference between banana and Big Mable?
The banana is long and narrow, you sit in a row, and falling is easy. Big Mable is wide and stable, you sit side by side, and falling is hard. "Falling is the point" → banana; "we don't want to fall" → Big Mable.
Can I choose where I sit?
Our team looks at the group and sets the right order, because weight distribution affects both balance and safety. You can state a preference, but if it isn't suitable for balance we may suggest another spot.
How long does it last, how much does it cost?
Rides are per session; pricing varies by season, group size and extras. Message us on WhatsApp or drop by our stand for current info.
Activity
Sofa
What is the sofa and how is it different?
The sofa is a towable with back-supported seats — you ride it like sitting on a couch. Unlike towables ridden lying down or straddling, you sit upright with your back on the rest. That makes it the most comfortable towable.
How hard is the sofa?
Medium: not as soft as banana, not as hard as phantom. The intensity is down to the captain's speed and set to your preference.
I have back pain — can I ride the sofa?
Thanks to the back support the sofa is less demanding than other towables, but it's still jolting. Mild issues can try it at low tempo; with serious back or neck conditions we recommend no towable — parasailing or a boat tour is far more suitable.
What's the difference between sofa and Big Mable?
The sofa has back support and you sit upright, with a slightly livelier ride. Big Mable is wider, takes up to 8 and is more stable. Big group → Big Mable; comfort and view → Sofa.
How many ride the sofa?
The sofa is a group towable ridden side by side; capacity depends on the equipment. Tell us how many and we'll set the layout.
Will I fall off?
With back support and a comfortable grip, the chance is medium. Don't trust the backrest and grip loosely, though — your hands keep you in place. Even if you fall, the life jacket brings you up and the boat returns immediately.
Can children ride the sofa?
Children above a certain age can join at lowered tempo, beside an adult. Age and weight limits are strict; tell us your child's age and we'll decide together whether sofa or banana/big mable fits.
Activity
Wakeboard
I've never wakeboarded — can I learn?
Yes, most guests stand up for at least a few seconds on the first day with an instructor. We explain the technique on land and start patiently on the calm morning sea. We can't guarantee it since everyone's balance differs, but even a failed try is fun and instructive.
Do I need to swim for wakeboard?
Yes, it's essential. You take the starting position in the water and fall often while learning. We can't offer wakeboard to non-swimmers; parasailing or banana would suit better.
Which is easier, wakeboard or water ski?
Water ski is easier to get up on, because balancing on two separate skis is more intuitive. First time, we usually suggest water ski; once comfortable the move to wakeboard is much faster.
What should I do on the first pull-up?
Don't resist. When the boat gives throttle, don't try to pull yourself up with your arms; let the board lift you and slowly straighten your knees. The most common mistake is pulling with the arms — the board and boat do the work, you just balance.
Will falling hurt?
No. The board is softly bound to your feet, the life jacket brings you straight up, and falls are into water. The one rule: let go of the rope as you fall — hanging on strains the shoulder.
Which time is best?
Morning. Wakeboard wants clean, flat water; the glassy morning sea makes learning easier and softens falls. Afternoon chop makes it harder for beginners.
Can my child wakeboard?
Wakeboard needs some strength and balance, so it suits children above a certain age and physical maturity, and swimming is required. Tell us your child's age and swimming ability and we'll assess suitability together.
Activity
Water Ski
I've never water skied — can I learn?
Yes, water ski is the easiest way to learn to glide on water. Balancing on two skis is intuitive; with on-shore explanation and a patient instructor most guests stand up in the first session. We can't guarantee it since balance differs, but the success rate is high.
Which is easier, water ski or wakeboard?
Water ski. Balancing on two separate skis is far more intuitive than the single board of wakeboard. First time, we suggest water ski; once comfortable the move to wakeboard is faster.
Do I need to swim for water ski?
Yes, it's essential. You take the starting position in the water and fall while learning. For non-swimmers we suggest parasailing or banana instead.
What should I do on the first pull-up?
Don't resist. When the boat pulls, don't try to lift yourself with your arms; let the skis carry you and slowly straighten your knees. Keep your body back and arms straight. The most common mistake is pulling with the arms.
Is falling dangerous?
No. Water-ski falls are soft; the skis come off and the life jacket brings you up. The one rule: let go of the handle. After a fall, raise your hand and stay put — the boat comes to you.
Is water ski the same as "su kayağı"?
Yes, the same activity. "Su kayağı" is the Turkish name, "water ski" the English. At our centre on Belcekız Beach they mean the same thing.
Which time is best?
Morning. The flat, calm morning sea makes learning easier and softens falls. Afternoon chop makes it harder.
Activity
SUP (Stand Up Paddle)
Is SUP hard? I've never tried it.
No, SUP is one of the easiest water activities to learn. Our boards are wide and stable; most find their balance in the first few minutes. Start kneeling and rise as you gain confidence — no rush, your own pace.
Do I need to swim for SUP?
Not essential but recommended. Falling off is unlikely, but if you can't swim, wear a life jacket and tell us — we'll keep you in a shallow area near shore.
Should I choose SUP or canoe?
Both are calm, motor-free exploring. SUP is standing with a single paddle — a little more balance but better for the view. Canoe is seated, has two-person options and suits families with children better.
Which time is best?
Morning. SUP wants flat, calm water and off Belcekız the sea is usually glassy in the morning. The morning quiet brings out the peaceful side too; afternoon wind makes balance harder.
Can my child do SUP?
Children above a certain age can do SUP with a life jacket and supervision; some can even sit on the same board with an adult. Tell us your child's age and we'll find the best option.
How long can I hire it for?
SUP is hired hourly. Tell us how many hours; for current options and pricing message us on WhatsApp or drop by the stand.
Activity
Canoe
Never canoed — is it hard?
No, the canoe is one of the easiest water activities. It's seated, no balance worries; alternate strokes and you go straight. You'll get the logic in a few strokes.
Can I go with my child?
Yes, the double canoe is ideal. The child sits in front or the middle; you paddle and steer from the back. Our wide sea canoes are very stable and we provide a properly sized child life jacket — one of the safest activities for families.
Will the canoe tip over?
Tipping the wide sit-on-top sea canoes we use is very hard. Even if it happens the canoe won't sink, your life jacket keeps you up, and you climb back on easily in the shallow area. Our team stays within sight.
Do I need to swim?
Not essential but recommended. Falling is very unlikely; non-swimmers and children always wear a life jacket. Tell us about swimming and we'll keep you in a safe area near shore.
Should I choose canoe or SUP?
The canoe is seated, easier, and its double option suits families with children better. SUP is standing — a little balance but better for view and exercise. Calm family activity → canoe; athletic → SUP.
How long can I hire it for?
The canoe is hired hourly. Choose the duration you need; for options and pricing message us on WhatsApp or drop by our stand.
Activity
Speed Boat
Do I need water-sport skills for the speed boat tour?
No skill needed. You board and enjoy. It's the most relaxed option for guests who don't want a water sport but want to get on the sea and see the coves.
Can children and older people join?
Yes, the speed boat is our most inclusive activity. Babies to grandparents; everyone gets a properly sized life jacket and we set the speed to the passengers. Ideal shared activity for mixed-age groups.
Where do we go and how long is it?
The route and duration are shaped by your preference. The Ölüdeniz coast, the coves and, in suitable conditions, towards Butterfly Valley are the most popular. Tell us what you want to see and we'll plan the route and time together.
Can we hire a private boat?
Yes. You can join a group tour or arrange a private boat for your family/group. On a private tour you set the route and time entirely. Message us on WhatsApp or drop by the stand.
Is there a swim stop?
If you like, yes. You can stop and swim in a suitable cove while our team stays alert on the boat. Just tell us at planning time.
I get seasick — is that a problem?
Tell us beforehand and we'll adjust the route and speed for a calmer, gentler ride. Speed boats are usually less bothersome than the big boats on open water, but it helps to know your sensitivity.
How much does it cost?
Price varies by tour length, group vs private and route. For current info message us on WhatsApp, call, or drop by our stand on Belcekız Beach.
Activity
Boat Tour
How long is the boat tour?
Half-day and full-day options can be considered. Half day is for a few coves and a swim stop; full day is a more complete sea day. We set the duration to suit your plans.
Which coves do we visit?
The route is set by the captain for the day's sea and wind, aiming for the clearest and most sheltered coves. If there's a specific spot you want, tell us and we'll add it if possible.
Is it suitable for families with children?
Very. The boat tour is one of the rare activities where children can play in the sea and grown-ups can rest. Children get properly sized life jackets and our team stays alert at swim stops.
Can we hire a private boat?
Yes. You can join a group tour or arrange a private boat for your family/group. On a private tour you set the route, stops and pace entirely — ideal for celebrations and romantic days.
What's the difference between speed boat and boat tour?
The speed boat is a short, fast, scenery-focused fun tour. The boat tour is longer, calm-paced and with swim stops; it's for relaxing and exploring the coves. Speed → speed boat; peace → boat tour.
Is food included?
This depends on the tour you choose. On half-day tours you usually bring your own snacks; on longer tours other arrangements may be possible. Tell us what you expect and we'll explain the options.
How much does it cost?
Price varies by tour length, group vs private and route. Message us on WhatsApp, call, or drop by our stand for current info.
Activity
Taxi Boat
Where can I go by taxi boat?
The most popular route is Butterfly Valley; being hard to reach by land, the sea route is the most practical. We also transfer to nearby quiet coves and beaches. Tell us where you want to go and we'll set the route together.
One-way or return?
Both are possible. Most guests choose a return: dropped at a cove, spend time, picked up at the agreed time. One-way can be arranged too. Tell us your plan.
How long can I stay at my destination?
Entirely up to you — the taxi boat's biggest advantage. You set the time, we'll be there at the return. Unlike crowded tour boats, you're not rushed.
Is the taxi boat the best way to Butterfly Valley?
Yes — being very hard to reach by land, the sea route is the most practical. The taxi boat drops you at the valley's beach, you explore at your own pace, and you're picked up at your chosen time. Ask us for current entry conditions.
Do I need water-sport skills?
No, the taxi boat is a transport service. You travel seated in a safe boat; no skill needed. Guests of any age can use it.
How much does it cost?
Price varies by destination, one-way vs return and group size. For current info message us on WhatsApp, call, or drop by our stand on Belcekız Beach.
Activity
Professional Photography
Is photography paid?
Yes, professional photography is a paid add-on. The fee varies by activity and scope; you can get the exact price from our team before the activity.
Can't I just film with my own phone?
On many activities (parasailing, jet ski, wakeboard) your hands are full or the device would get wet, so you can't shoot yourself. Bringing a phone into the activity also risks the device and lowers your safety. Professional shooting is both higher quality and safer.
When and how are photos delivered?
We deliver the images after the activity. Ask our team at the stand for the current delivery method.
Can we shoot as a group?
Of course. On family and group tours, capturing everyone together is one of the most popular options. Tell us before the activity for a group shoot.
What's the difference between photo, drone and GoPro?
Professional photos give the best frame from shore/boat; drone video shows you from the air inside the scenery; GoPro records from your own point of view. The three complement each other and can be chosen together.
Which activities do you photograph?
Professional photography is possible on all our water sports — parasailing, jet ski, phantom, banana, wakeboard and the rest. Just say you want it before the activity.
Activity
Professional Drone Video
Can drone footage always be done?
No, drone footage depends on the weather. In wind or poor conditions we don't fly, for safety and image quality. If the drone isn't possible that day we offer the best alternative with professional photos or a GoPro. We assess suitability on the day.
Which activity gives the best drone result?
Parasailing by far — you're already in the air and the drone shows you with the Ölüdeniz scenery. Then crowded towables like big mable and banana, and jet ski. Really, every activity looks different and beautiful from above.
Is drone video paid?
Yes, professional drone video is a paid add-on. The fee varies by activity and scope; get the exact price from our team before the activity.
How and when do I get my video?
We deliver the video after the activity. Ask our team at the stand for the current delivery method.
Does the drone affect my activity?
No. You do your water sport as usual; the drone follows from a safe distance. You don't have to do anything extra.
Can I get photo, drone and GoPro together?
Yes, the three complement each other: photos for the best frame, drone for the aerial scenery, GoPro for your own angle. Choose them together for the most complete memory. Ask about packages on the beach.
Activity
GoPro Rental
Is GoPro rental paid?
Yes, GoPro rental is a paid service. The fee varies by rental duration and activity; get the exact price from our team before the activity. It can also be considered as a package with photo and drone.
What's the difference between GoPro and professional shooting?
Professional photos and drone show you from the outside — how you look. The GoPro records through your eyes — what you see and feel. The two complement each other; choose both for the richest memory.
I don't know how to use a GoPro — is it hard?
No, very simple. Our team fixes the camera suitably for your activity and shows you how to start and stop recording. As easy as start-stop; no technical knowledge needed.
What if the GoPro falls?
We fix the camera securely so it won't fall, making loss very unlikely. Our team will brief you on responsibility and any loss/damage terms before the rental.
Which activities does the GoPro suit?
Especially jet ski, wakeboard and water ski — speed and action look great. On towables the first-hand comedy of the fall, and on SUP/canoe the calm exploring over clear water make lovely footage. It can be used on nearly all our activities.
How do I get my footage?
After the activity you hand back the camera and get your footage. Ask our team at the stand for the transfer method.
